Hello, this blog was actually inspired by "Avery's Bucket List", which which is about a precious little baby girl who has a rare genetic disorder called "SMA".

Although her story is heartbreaking, it inspired me to create this blog to document the challenges we are facing, as parents with our son Luis Emilio Mercado-Horn.
